As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance information security and improve the efficiency of electronic publishing, Assistant Lecturer Ghadeer Haider Saeed, the Website Officer in the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences, participated in a specialized workshop organized by the Follow-up Department at the University Presidency on the evening of Thursday, July 17, 2025.
The workshop, presented by Mrs. Hawraa Haider Al-Khafaji in collaboration with Dr. Sabrin, addressed a range of sensitive security details that those responsible for managing electronic websites must adhere to, particularly concerning the protection of data and official content from hacking attempts or unauthorized publishing.
The workshop also included a demonstration of publishing guidelines on the Google News platform, following the official registration of the university’s website on the platform. This opens new horizons for university news to reach a wider audience locally and internationally.
Participants from the College of Administrative Sciences showed great engagement and fruitful contributions that enriched the discussions and proposed practical suggestions to develop the performance of websites and ensure their compliance with the highest standards of security and reliability.
This participation comes within the college’s efforts to keep pace with technological developments and enhance its digital presence, serving both the academic and administrative processes.
