AL_Mustaqbal University students continue to make significant strides in the specialized VEX Robotics training program, hosted by the Center for Continuing Education in cooperation with the university's Artificial Intelligence Incubator. Since its launch in early July, the program has witnessed a remarkable increase in the level of interaction and creativity among participating students, reflected in the development of their technical and programming skills.
The program includes three advanced levels: VEX GO, VEX IQ, and VEX V5. Students benefited from intensive training support provided by a group of specialists in the field of robotics and interactive education. Students' capabilities were particularly prominent in the areas of precise mechanical design, professional assembly of robotic components, and mastery of the VEXcode programming environment.
During the final sessions, students built advanced robotic models using smart components manufactured by VEX Robotics, including sensitive motors, microcontrollers, and multi-function sensors. They also underwent practical training on operating robots to perform tasks requiring precise movement, such as traversing specific paths or executing complex programming commands.
Participants were divided into collaborative work teams, whose members alternated between design, assembly, and programming roles. This created a vibrant learning environment based on the principle of "learning by doing," fostering a spirit of teamwork and innovative thinking.
The supervising academic team expressed their pride in the students' efforts, appreciating their ability to tackle technical challenges and grasp complex concepts. Students' increased passion for exploration and experimentation was also noted, demonstrating the profound impact this practical experience has on their educational path.
Students' achievements are documented daily through video recordings of the workflow and interactive snapshots shared with parents. This strengthened community bonds and contributed to highlighting the program's successes.
* In preparation for international competitions
This program falls within the framework of the University of the Future's vision to prepare its students to compete in national and international competitions in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, through quality training programs based on modern STEM methodologies. The program aims to empower a creative digital generation capable of leading the future and creating solutions.
