In the framework of enhancing international engagement and in alignment with the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals particularly Goal 17 Partnerships for the Goals Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the 11th International Workshop on UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (IWGM 2025), organized by the UI GreenMetric organization and hosted by the University of Côte d’Azur in Nice, France.
The workshop brought together over 300 academic leaders and sustainability experts to discuss green campuses, sustainable solutions, and the role of the UI GreenMetric ranking system in advancing university practices toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi contributed actively to the event by chairing one of the conference sessions, during which he presented Al-Mustaqbal University’s experience and ongoing efforts in implementing the SDGs. His participation also included several bilateral meetings aimed at establishing future collaborations with universities from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and France.
