Under the sustainability activities, the Department of Archaeology is distributing educational brochures on the importance of archaeological sites.

The Department of Archaeology has distributed brochures that highlight the significance of these sites and the necessity of raising awareness about and protecting them.

The brochures address the relationship between the preservation of archaeological sites and the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), which emphasizes the need to safeguard cultural and natural heritage, and Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting awareness of the importance of history and heritage. The initiative is also linked to Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by showcasing the role of cultural tourism in supporting the local economy.

Participants in the campaign affirmed that protecting and promoting awareness of archaeological sites contributes to reinforcing cultural identity and advancing sustainable development, urging the relevant authorities and the community to intensify efforts to preserve the historical legacy for future generations.
