It addressed the negative effects of drug abuse on the health, social and economic levels. The seminar highlighted the serious damage caused by drug abuse, starting from its impact on the family by increasing the disintegration of family ties to its role in the spread of crime and the exacerbation of economic suffering. It also reviewed the serious communicable diseases associated with drug abuse through injections, such as (HIV), viral hepatitis of all kinds, and others.
During the seminar, the focus was on educating students about the importance of caution and caution, and alerting them to the need to stay away from using any drugs without a prescription to prevent falling prey to drug dealers. It also urged students to spread awareness to combat this dangerous scourge that threatens society. In conclusion, the seminar emphasized Confronting this phenomenon requires everyone to work together to protect future generations, under the slogan “Awareness is the fortress of the future.”
