As part of the efforts of the University of the Future/College of Education/Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences to support the educational environment in rural areas, the Sustainability Representative, M.M. Amal Muhammad Jaber, participated in a field visit to Al-Madhatiyah Industrial Secondary School located in the south of Babil Governorate. The visit aimed to review the most prominent obstacles and challenges facing the secondary school, and to work on preparing a field study within the sustainability program that focuses on improving the educational environment in rural areas, which contributes to providing an appropriate educational environment for students, and enhancing learning opportunities in rural areas. The visit included field documentation with photos of the most important educational facilities and infrastructure in the secondary school, with the preparation of a report addressing the most important challenges and ways to address them through joint cooperation between the university and relevant parties. This initiative comes within a series of activities aimed at supporting education in rural areas and achieving sustainable development goals in the field of education.
