Under the auspices of the esteemed President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the esteemed Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Professor Dr. Hussein Wahid Aziz,

The Department of Archaeology organized a scientific workshop entitled "The Role of Women in Transforming Green Education Towards a Better Future." The workshop was conducted by faculty members Lecturer Rusul Ne’ma Kamal, Ms. Athraa Ali Abdul, and Ms. Kawthar Aqeel Kazem on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in the Humanities Building halls.

This workshop aligns with Goal 5 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Gender Equality).

The workshop aimed to highlight the crucial role of women in advancing sustainable education and steering it towards innovative environmental solutions. It focused on discussing the contributions of women in raising environmental awareness and implementing educational initiatives that support sustainable development. Furthermore, it explored how women across various disciplines can contribute to transforming green education into an effective tool for environmental preservation.

Additionally, the workshop emphasized the significance of empowering women in the fields of science, technology, and environmental innovation.
