The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the workshop titled "From Vision to Reality: The Private Sector as a Driver of Sustainable Cities", delivered by:
Dr. Batool Mowafaq, Dr. Haider Al-Kafaishi, Dr. Zuhair Nassar, and Ms. Omaima Kazem, as part of the extended scientific conference organized by the university, with the participation of a distinguished group of local and international academics and experts.
The workshop witnessed notable attendance from faculty members and university students. Discussions focused on the most important visions and initiatives that contribute to achieving sustainable urban development, emphasizing the pivotal role of the private sector in supporting innovation and technology for more efficient and sustainable city management.
The session also featured insightful contributions from specialists in urban planning, smart technology, and clean energy. It highlighted the importance of collaboration between the academic and private sectors in addressing environmental and economic challenges and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
