As part of Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week 2025, the Sustainability Ambassadors of the Smart Medical Systems Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign titled "Your Health in Your Hands." The campaign aims to raise community awareness about the importance of having blood pressure and blood glucose monitors in every household.
The campaign emphasizes the crucial role of these simple devices in early detection of chronic diseases, empowering individuals to regularly monitor their health, which in turn enhances quality of life and reduces the risk of complications. The initiative included the distribution of informative brochures and live demonstrations for visitors on how to use the devices and interpret their readings.
This campaign reflects the department’s commitment to connecting health sustainability with accessible medical technologies, and to promoting a culture of prevention and self-monitoring as part of a sustainable lifestyle.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
