A Humanitarian Initiative by First-Year Students – Department of Chemical Engineering

As part of promoting humanitarian values and the spirit of giving, first-year students in the Department of Chemical Engineering – College of Engineering launched a meaningful initiative on May 1st, in celebration of Labor Day. The initiative involved distributing flowers and cake to the university's workers, in appreciation of their daily efforts and their vital role in maintaining a clean and organized campus environment.

Through this gesture, the students expressed their gratitude to the workers, emphasizing that appreciation goes beyond words and is best conveyed through practical acts that reflect a high level of student awareness and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Such initiatives aim to instill a culture of respect and gratitude within the university campus, and to encourage students toward positive community engagement—goals that the university actively promotes as part of its educational and developmental mission.
