Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ameen Mohammed Kitab, the Head of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Mamouri, and the College's Assessment and Evaluation Officer, an awareness training seminar was held for the department's students in preparation for the final examinations.
The seminar was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Muntathar Saleh Mahdi, a faculty member in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering. It focused on the examination system adopted by the college, including both essay-based and multiple-choice (MCQ) formats. The seminar included a detailed explanation on how to handle the examination paper and the procedures that must be followed during the exam to ensure a smooth process and uphold the principles of fairness and transparency.
The seminar also clarified the examination regulations for students and emphasized the importance of adhering to them. In addition, illustrative models were presented to simplify the understanding of the examination system, aligning with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.
This seminar is part of a series of awareness workshops organized by the college in cooperation with the examination committees and university assessment and evaluation officials. It aims to prepare students psychologically and academically to perform efficiently in their exams.
