In celebration of Iraqi Engineer’s Day, the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held a special ceremony to honor both outstanding fourth-year students and pioneering engineers who have significantly contributed to engineering education.
The event included the recognition of Professor Dr. Majid Hameed Majeed, who was awarded the “Pioneering Engineers Shield” by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, in appreciation of his leadership in advancing higher education in engineering. In addition, a select group of distinguished fourth-year students received the Award of Excellence in recognition of their academic achievements and dedication throughout their years of study.
This celebration reflected a spirit of gratitude and pride in both past and future generations of Iraqi engineers, emphasizing the value of academic excellence and honoring the enduring legacy of the engineering profession.
