In celebration of Iraqi Engineer Day, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a special ceremony to express its deep appreciation for the Iraqi engineer and their pioneering role in nation-building and achieving sustainable development.
During the event, the Dean of the College and the Heads of the Scientific Departments honored a group of distinguished and young engineers from the university’s academic, administrative, and technical staff in recognition of their outstanding contributions in scientific and engineering fields, as well as their active role in enhancing the quality of education and innovation within the university. A number of outstanding graduates from the college were also honored for their excellence in both academic and professional life, serving as role models for future generations of engineers.
Among those honored was Mr. Mohsen Alawi, a lecturer in the Department of Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies.
The ceremony included opening speeches, during which the Dean emphasized the important role of engineers in the development and advancement of society across various fields of engineering and technology, highlighting the national responsibility engineers bear during the reconstruction and development phase.
At the conclusion of the celebration, shields of appreciation and honorary certificates were distributed to the honorees in an atmosphere filled with pride and admiration, reaffirming the college's commitment to supporting and empowering engineering professionals and fostering a spirit of innovation and excellence in both academic and professional communities.
