In celebration of Iraqi Engineer's Day, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a special event to express its deep appreciation for the Iraqi engineer and their pioneering role in nation-building and achieving sustainable development.
During the event, the Dean of the College and the Heads of Academic Departments honored a group of pioneering and young engineers from the university’s teaching, administrative, and technical staff. This recognition came in appreciation of their outstanding contributions in scientific and engineering fields, and their effective role in enhancing the quality of education and innovation within the university. Among those honored was Assistant Lecturer Rusal Abbas Alwan, Head of Activities in the Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies Department, in celebration of her achievements.
The ceremony included opening speeches, during which the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of the engineer’s role in the development and progress of society across various engineering and technological fields. He highlighted the national responsibility engineers bear during the phase of reconstruction and development.
At the conclusion of the event, honorary shields and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the honorees in an atmosphere filled with pride and recognition. The celebration affirmed the College’s commitment to supporting and empowering engineering professionals, while fostering a spirit of innovation and excellence within the academic and professional community.
