The Department of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products at the College of Agricultural Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University extends its heartfelt congratulations to the University’s leadership, faculty, staff, and students on the occasion of the University’s outstanding achievement in ranking first among all private universities in Iraq in terms of scientific research output, according to the most recent report issued by the Scopus global database.
The report revealed that Al-Mustaqbal University has published a total of 5,243 scientific papers indexed in Scopus, earning it first place among private universities and 11th overall among 188 academic and research institutions across Iraq.
This accomplishment reflects the dedication and continued efforts of researchers across various scientific disciplines, including the field of medicinal plants and natural products, which actively contributes to applied research in health, environmental sustainability, and natural resource development. The department is proud to have contributed to this success through high-quality research published in reputable international journals.
