On the morning of Monday, June 2, 2025, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed a specialized ministerial team as part of the ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of the Biosafety and Biosecurity Manual in educational institutions.
The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Munthir Fadel Hassan, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, who warmly welcomed the guests and affirmed the university’s commitment to applying the highest safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy educational environment.
The visit included a field tour of the scientific laboratories, where procedures for storing and handling chemical and biological materials were audited to ensure compliance with nationally and internationally approved standards. The evaluation also covered the university’s policies aimed at maintaining a safe and sustainable scientific environment for students and research staff.
The specialized committee praised the efforts made by Al-Mustaqbal University in implementing biosafety and biosecurity requirements, commending the university’s dedication to providing a comprehensive educational environment that meets approved scientific and health standards.
This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s initiative to promote a culture of safety in academic institutions and ensure the sustainability of the educational process within a risk-free environment.
