As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing students' technical skills, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the Generative AI Student Hackathon, held in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Digital Age and Transformation Technology for Sustainable Development (Data 2025). The event took place at the Cultural Center in Tangier, Kingdom of Morocco, from May 7 to 9, 2025.

The hackathon featured active participation from students of Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (Morocco), alongside support and sponsorship from Al-Mustaqbal University. The objective was to develop practical solutions to real-world challenges using generative AI technologies—highlighting the growing integration of advanced technology in education and sustainable development.

During the event, Prof. Dr. Hassan Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, honored the winning teams and praised their efforts in shaping a sustainable digital future. He also delivered a scientific lecture titled:
"Integration of Green Education and AI Technologies in Al-Mustaqbal University – Framework as a Case Study."

The university’s participation drew significant attention, especially as it marked the first official involvement of an Iraqi university in scientific events in Morocco, reflecting the advanced academic standing of Al-Mustaqbal University both regionally and internationally.
