s part of its ongoing pursuit of academic excellence, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Future University has achieved outstanding results in the ministerial assessment exams for the academic year 2024–2025. These exams, adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, serve as a key instrument for evaluating academic performance and educational quality across Iraqi universities.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majid, President of the University, extended his warmest congratulations to the college administration, academic departments, and dear students. He praised the tremendous efforts of the teaching staff, which led to high success rates and top rankings at the national level.

Highlights – Department of Power Mechanics Engineering:

🔹 Third Year:

Heat Transfer – Success Rate: 88% (Instructor: Dr. Mohammed Shakir)

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Success Rate: 83.3% (Lecturer: Zahra Fakhri)

🔹 Fourth Year:

Air Conditioning Systems – Success Rate: 98% (Prof. Dr. Qusay Rasheed)

Freezing Systems – Success Rate: 96% (Dr. Dohaa Radi)

The Dean of the College, Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, affirmed that this accomplishment is the result of a well-coordinated team effort based on a comprehensive developmental plan. This included curriculum updates, fostering a supportive educational environment, and enhancing students’ practical skills in line with labor market needs and modern engineering advancements.

He also commended the dedication and commitment of the academic staff, whose continuous guidance played a vital role in achieving this distinction.
