The delegation was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Scientific Assistant, and Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, along with several department and center directors. Dr. Al-Zuhairi gave a detailed presentation on the university's most prominent sustainability initiatives, highlighting the progress the university has made in the Times Higher Education World Sustainability Rankings 2025.
This visit aimed to gain a firsthand insight into the environmental and development projects implemented by the university, which reflect its commitment to environmental standards. The field tour included a number of sites and projects on campus, where committee members, representing the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Environment, praised the university's serious efforts and positive response to the competition requirements.
