Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the 11th International Workshop on UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (IWGM2025), organized by the UI GreenMetric organization. The workshop was held at Côte d’Azur University in Nice, France.
The conference brought together over 300 academic leaders and experts in university rankings, who shared their experiences in sustainability, green campuses, and sustainable solutions. Discussions focused on the role of the UI GreenMetric ranking system in advancing university practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi played a prominent role in the workshop by moderating one of its sessions and delivering a presentation on Al-Mustaqbal University’s experiences and contributions to achieving the SDGs.
As part of the event, he was awarded a certificate of participation, and held several meetings and discussions with representatives from universities in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and France, exploring future avenues for cooperation and academic collaboration.
