As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic partnerships and enhance student skills, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted the French expert and visiting professor Stephan Diaz in a specialized training workshop titled “Zero Pain Dentistry”, sponsored by Ablal International Company – Baghdad/Al-Mansour Branch.
The workshop was held at the Student Activities Hall in the Medical Building, lasting for more than an hour and a half. It witnessed remarkable attendance from faculty members and students of the College of Dentistry. The session focused on the latest global practices in pain-free dental treatment, contributing significantly to enriching participants' scientific knowledge and sharpening their practical skills.
During the visit, the university honored the French expert with a commemorative shield, and a similar token of appreciation was presented to Dr. Azhar, representative of Ablal International Company, in recognition of the company’s support for the event. The visit also included a guided tour of the College of Dentistry and its university clinics, where the guest expressed his admiration for the academic standards and modern facilities, taking commemorative photos on campus.
This hosting comes as part of the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division's activities, aimed at attracting international expertise and transferring up-to-date knowledge to students — thereby enhancing their professional readiness and supporting the university's academic reputation both regionally and internationally.
At the conclusion of his visit, Professor Stephan Diaz expressed his pleasure with the experience, praising the academic level at Al-Mustaqbal University, and affirming that it stands as one of his most distinguished academic stops in the Middle East. He also pledged to return for another visit in the near future as part of upcoming scientific activities.
