The College of Fine Arts – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop titled “Intellectual Extremism and Its Impact on Society”, presented by Dr. Hamza Alawi Masrabat from the Department of Art Education, with the attendance of the college staff and students.
The workshop explored the concept and causes of intellectual extremism, emphasizing preventive approaches through promoting dialogue, critical thinking, and cultural openness among individuals. It also highlighted the vital role of art in fostering tolerance and rejecting violence as an essential means of building human and aesthetic awareness.
This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by fostering a culture of coexistence and creating a safe academic environment that encourages creativity and free thought.
