Al-Mustaqbal University Achieves New Scientific Milestone, Leading Iraqi Public and Private Universities in the 2025 U.S. News Global Ranking

Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new scientific milestone by ranking first among all Iraqi public and private universities in the 2025 U.S. News Global Ranking, which included 2,250 universities from around the world. The ranking is based on research strength and academic reputation.

The university secured the first position nationally in Iraq and ranked 396th in Asia. It also achieved advanced positions in subject-specific rankings, placing 751st globally in Chemistry and 771st globally in Engineering.

These results reaffirm Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to its academic and research mission and its continuous efforts to strengthen its position among the world’s leading universities through scientific excellence and leadership.
