Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, the College of Law organized an awareness seminar entitled: “Tasks of the Human Rights Division at Al-Mustaqbal University”, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the College Hall – Humanities Building.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Saadi and Dr. Qasim Muhammad Al-Haymis, who addressed several topics regarding the tasks of the Human Rights Division at the university, its role in promoting a culture of human rights and reinforcing the values of justice and equality, in addition to its support for academic and educational efforts to build a university environment aware of its rights and responsibilities.

This seminar comes as part of the College of Law’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by promoting human rights principles and building a cohesive university community capable of contributing to sustainable development.
