Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the 11th International Workshop on UI GreenMetrics World University Rankings (IWGM 2025), organized by UI GreenMetrics, and hosted by the University of Côte d’Azur in Nice, France.

The conference brought together more than 300 participants, including academic leaders and experts in university rankings from around the world. They shared experiences related to sustainability, green environments, and sustainable solutions, while also discussing the role of UI GreenMetrics in advancing higher education practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi contributed by chairing one of the conference sessions and delivering a presentation on Al-Mustaqbal University's role and experiences in implementing sustainability principles across its academic and administrative strategies.

At the conclusion of the conference, the university president was awarded an official certificate of participation. He also held several meetings and discussions with representatives from prominent universities in England, Italy, Germany, and France, aiming to strengthen international academic collaboration for Al-Mustaqbal University.
