On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, the Department of Mental and Psychological Health at Al-Mustaqbal University / College of Nursing organized a visit to the Elderly Care Home with the aim of providing psychological and moral support to senior citizens.

The visit was headed by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Burhan Hadi, accompanied by the lecturers Asst. Lect. Hatem Kareem and Asst. Lect. Abbas Shubber, along with fourth-year students specializing in Mental Health Nursing.

This visit comes as part of the university’s celebration of this international day, which aims to shed light on the rights of the elderly and the importance of their care, particularly in the field of mental health. It also forms part of the students’ practical training program, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-life setting and enhance their skills in dealing with older adults.
