As part of the Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence Camp organized by the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University, the Department of Business Administration held a scientific hackathon entitled “Smart Applications in Management and Combating Unemployment.” The event aimed to encourage students to utilize intelligent technologies in addressing administrative and social challenges.
The first hackathon was presented by student Saja Taha Yassin under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amjad Hameed Majeed, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence into modern management systems and its role in creating innovative solutions to reduce unemployment rates.
Another hackathon on the same theme was conducted by students Haneen Adnan Muhsin and Zainab Qahtan Abis, under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Ameer Fares Taha, showcasing a range of entrepreneurial ideas that leverage digital transformation to enhance work environments and expand employment opportunities.
These activities reflect the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, and to linking sustainability with artificial intelligence in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the university’s vision of preparing a generation capable of offering smart, effective solutions to societal and labor market challenges.
