A new academic book has been recently published by Assistant Lecturer Saif Al-Din Al-Shams, a faculty member in the Department of Media – College of Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University, entitled:
“The Essence of Traditional and Digital Journalism: Reality and Aspirations.”

The book presents a comprehensive observation and analysis of the current state of both print and digital journalism. It explores the fundamental differences in content structure, production tools, audience engagement, and the surrounding technical and regulatory environments of each model.

The author focuses on the challenges facing print journalism in light of the rise of digital media, while also highlighting the opportunities for smart transformation within traditional newspapers. He offers future-oriented insights on what journalism should evolve into amid rapidly accelerating technological developments. The book also provides a balanced outlook on the future of journalism in the Arab world, navigating between the demands of digital modernization and the preservation of core professional values.

A copy of the book was presented to Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, who in return issued an official letter of appreciation in recognition of the academic and scientific efforts made.

This publication is part of Assistant Lecturer Saif Al-Din Al-Shams’s ongoing contributions to enriching the Arab media library with content that bridges academic theory and real-world application.
