In implementation to the directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and being part of the Ministry Policy that aims to opening horizons of cooperation between Public and Private Universities, Prof Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University, with the Accompanying Delegation have been received by Prof Dr. Majdi in his Office, where different areas of common interest have been reviewed together.
The University President has welcomed the Visiting Delegation, referring in his Speech to the importance of conducting partnerships between the Two Universities that would have positive effect on Academic & Administrative Performance through exchange of experiences and reinforcement of Scientific Reputation on both Local and Global Levels.
For her part, President of Northern Technical University has expressed her pride of the Partnership with Al-Mustaqbal University, simply because of the good reputation and high-level performance that have placed Al-Mustaqbal University at the forefront of Private Education in Iraq, in addition to being highly prestigious among Public Universities.
Consequently, a Scientific & Cultural Cooperation Agreement has been signed between the two Parties, including a set of issues, such as Joint Scientific Research, Conferences, Exchange of Visits, as well as Supervising Postgraduate Students. It has also been agreed to benefit from Successful Experiences in the Fields of Sustainable Development and Promotion of Faculty Competencies, as well as Students Summer Training, Curricula Update, and Exploration of Pioneering Projects that would embody the concept of “Productive University.”
It is remarkable to note that the Agreement has been signed by Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Prof Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University. Both Presidents have emphasized the necessity to activating the Memorandum Terms through Communication and Joint Coordination between Concerned Parties of both Universities.
Furthermore, a Cooperation Protocol has been signed related to the 2nd International Scientific Conference on the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, expected to be organized in April 2025 at the Turkish Alanya Aladdin University.
