As part of its commitment to fostering academic collaboration and strengthening scientific partnerships among Iraqi universities, the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a scientific twinning and cooperation agreement with the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah. The agreement, which focuses on the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, was signed on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the premises of the College of Computer Science at the University of Al-Qadisiyah.

The agreement was signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamzah Abd, Dean of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radheef, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah.

The agreement includes several key areas of cooperation, including:

Teaching and Scientific Research:
An exchange of expertise and knowledge in teaching and research, along with the encouragement of joint scientific research projects between the two institutions.

Scientific and Student Activities:
The organization of joint scientific events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences, in addition to academic and student exchange programs that enhance the educational experience.

Curriculum Development and Skill Enhancement:
Collaboration in updating and modernizing academic curricula in line with the latest advancements in science and technology, and sharing best practices for enhancing students’ practical skills.

Faculty Development and Technical Training:
Providing training programs and technical workshops aimed at developing the skills of faculty members and academic staff.

Both parties expressed their commitment to achieving the objectives outlined in the agreement through continued cooperation and coordination, with the aim of advancing education, research, and academic excellence.

At the conclusion of the meeting, commemorative shields and gifts were exchanged. Dr. Furat Hamzah Abd extended his sincere thanks for the warm hospitality and generous reception provided during the visit.
