As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's efforts to enhance the quality of digital content and develop media practices, the University Presidency, under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, organized a specialized online training workshop entitled:
"News Quality on the Website."
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Sabreen Farhan Jawad, Website Monitoring Officer at the University Presidency, through the Google Meet platform, with the participation of website officers from various university colleges.
The workshop addressed several key themes, including:
The importance of publishing on the university website.
Steps to professionally edit and upload news.
Indicators and standards for high-quality university news.
Analysis of common weaknesses in published content.
Practical recommendations to improve news quality and enhance digital engagement.
The session also covered the monitoring of students' summer training programs across various specializations. Emphasis was placed on the importance of documenting and publishing these activities through official platforms to reflect the program's effectiveness and quality, as well as its role in supporting students' practical skills.
The workshop witnessed active participation from college website officers, including Programmer Amal Abbas Obeid, Website Administrator of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, along with representatives from other colleges.
This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4):
“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
It reflects the university's dedication to building a distinguished and modern digital academic media environment.
