The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness seminar on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in celebration of the International Day of Older Persons, presented by Asst. Lecturer Ali Hamed, Asst. Lecturer Basim Kareem, Asst. Lecturer Hanadi Hadi, and Asst. Lecturer Evan Tahseen.

The seminar addressed the importance of caring for the elderly and the role of society and healthcare institutions in providing them with the necessary physical, psychological, and social support. The speakers emphasized the need to raise awareness about oral and dental health among older adults due to its direct impact on their overall quality of life.

The event also highlighted the connection between elderly care and several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to good health and well-being, reducing inequalities, and promoting social solidarity. This seminar reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to fostering a culture of respect and care for vulnerable groups and reinforcing the role of academic institutions in serving humanity at all stages of life.
