On the morning of Monday, June 2, 2025, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed a specialized ministerial team as part of a national initiative to monitor the implementation of biosafety and biosecurity guidelines in higher education institutions.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Mundher Fadel Hassan, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, who expressed the university's commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security to ensure a healthy and secure academic environment.

The visit included a field tour of several scientific laboratories, including those of the College of Agricultural Technologies, where the team inspected the storage and handling procedures of chemical and biological materials. The evaluation focused on compliance with national and international safety standards, as well as policies ensuring a sustainable and safe scientific environment for students and research staff.

The ministerial committee praised the university's efforts—particularly those of the College of Agricultural Technologies—in implementing safety requirements. They commended the university’s dedication to creating a comprehensive educational environment that aligns with recognized scientific and health standards.

This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s broader efforts to foster a culture of safety across academic institutions and to sustain an educational process free from risks.
