Al-Mustaqbal University took part in the 8th regular meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS), which was held virtually on Monday, July 11, 2025, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of Istanbul Aydın University and Chairman of the EURAS Board of Directors, with the participation of university presidents and representatives from member institutions via videoconference.

This participation comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s active role as a Board member of the Union, following its selection during the annual conference held in Istanbul, Turkey, in October 2024.

The meeting addressed several key themes, including strengthening academic cooperation among member universities, developing research platforms, sustainability, building international partnerships, and student exchange programs, in addition to reviewing the outcomes of the previous meeting.

During the session, Al-Mustaqbal University was commended for its remarkable achievements in the THE Impact Rankings within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) categories, reflecting the institution’s continuous efforts to enhance its academic and research performance.

The importance of the university’s upcoming role in organizing and hosting international activities was also highlighted, particularly the EURAS Academy Forum scheduled to be held on the university campus in November 2025. The event will serve as a platform to showcase success stories and to discuss global challenges and the role of higher education in addressing them.

The meeting also featured presentations from international student platforms, in which Al-Mustaqbal University students took part, contributing to projects that promote cultural exchange and the sharing of ideas among member universities.
