In the context of Iraqi universities' relentless efforts to establish partnerships that contribute to exchanging expertise and learning from successful experiences, and on the sidelines of the 10th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women's Sports, organized by Al-Mustaqbal University from February 15-16, 2025, the university president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, welcomed a delegation from the College of Education for Women at the University of Kufa in his office.

The delegation included the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sahar Jabir Al-Husseini, along with several heads of academic departments. The university president warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasized the importance of continuous communication and coordination between counterpart colleges in Iraqi universities, whether public or private. He highlighted the positive impact of such collaboration on strengthening the educational process through the exchange of ideas and expertise.

For her part, Professor Dr. Sahar Al-Husseini praised the advancements made by Al-Mustaqbal University and the promising initiatives it has adopted, which have enhanced its academic reputation at both local and international levels.

During the meeting, a joint scientific and academic cooperation agreement was signed between the College of Education for Women at the University of Kufa and the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University. The agreement covered several key areas, including joint scientific research, collaborative scientific activities such as conferences and workshops, supervision of postgraduate students, administration and career development, capacity building, quality assurance, programmatic and institutional accreditation, as well as student activities and events.

The memorandum was signed by Professor Dr. Sahar Jabir Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Education for Women at the University of Kufa, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, in the presence of Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Dr. Samir Ibrahim Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations.

Following the signing, the university president, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, presented the university's shield to the visiting delegation, who, in turn, expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the university leadership for their warm welcome and generous hospitality.
