New Research Explores the Impact of Generative AI on Peer Review
A recent scientific study titled "Exploring the Impact of Generative AI on Peer Review: Insights from Journal Reviewers" has been published in the Journal of Academic Ethics. The study highlights the role of artificial intelligence in improving the peer review process for academic research.
The research was led by Dr. Saman Ebadi, with contributions from Hassan Nejadghanbar and Ahmed Rawdhan Salman, alongside a scholar from the University of Queensland, Australia. The team examined how large language models (LLMs) can enhance the efficiency of academic review without compromising scholarly integrity.
In this context, one of the study's contributors, a faculty member at the University of Queensland, expressed gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rawdhan Salman, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, for his valuable contributions. He noted that Dr. Salman’s insights played a crucial role in fostering a balanced understanding of AI's role in peer review.
