Al-Mustaqbal University (UOMUS) has achieved a new academic milestone in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2025, securing the 1676th position globally, marking an advancement of 639 places compared to the previous year.

At the national level, the university has ranked first among private universities and colleges in Iraq and fourth overall, following the University of Baghdad, the University of Technology, and Salahaddin University. This achievement highlights its excellence in academic and research performance.

In a press statement, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, emphasized that this progress reflects the university’s continuous efforts to enhance scientific research, support international publications, and encourage faculty members and researchers. He also pointed out that URAP is one of the most significant global rankings, relying on the quality and international impact of research output.

The URAP ranking is based on several key criteria, including the quality of scientific research, the volume of academic publications, citation rates, research impact, and the extent of international research collaboration.

In conclusion, the University President congratulated faculty members, staff, and students on this achievement, reaffirming the university’s commitment to further advancing in global rankings through continued investment in research, academic development, and fostering innovation and excellence among its students and researchers.
