In a qualitative academic achievement that reflects its commitment to academic and digital excellence, AL_Mustaqbal University topped private universities and colleges in Iraq in the Webometrics World University Rankings – July 2025 Edition. It ranked fifteenth (15) among all Iraqi universities, and 3224th globally out of thousands of ranked universities.

The Webometrics ranking is one of the most prominent international rankings, assessing university institutional performance based on three main indicators: digital impact, academic openness, and research excellence. AL_Mustaqbal University has made remarkable progress in all of these areas, as follows:

📝 This indicator measures the number of external links pointing to the university's website, reflecting the strength of the university's growing digital presence and widespread interaction with the university's online content.

🔹 Second – Openness Rank:
* Global Rank: 3,157
* Improvement compared to the previous edition: 113 places
* Growth Rate: 3.45%
📝 This indicator shows the availability of the university's scientific output in open access format, embodying the university's commitment to a transparent and globally accessible knowledge publishing policy.

🔹 Third – Research Excellence Rank:
* Global Rank: 1,411
* Improvement compared to the previous edition: 5 places
* Growth Rate: 0.35%
📝 This indicator measures the number of research papers published within the top 10% of the most cited international scientific journals, reflecting the quality of scientific research and the university's standing within the international academic community.
