Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with Mansoura University, concluded its summer training program with a scientific field visit to the Egyptian Liver Diseases Hospital. The students were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ezzat, Director of Training at the hospital, under the supervision of Eng. Ahmed Hamed, Biomedical Engineer.
The visit included an extensive tour of several key departments such as the Liver Catheterization Room, Gastrointestinal Operating Room, Laboratories, and the Sterilization Unit. Specialists in each department provided detailed explanations about the medical equipment used, their operating mechanisms, and the protocols followed for routine maintenance and upkeep to ensure continuous efficiency. Additionally, they presented the hospital’s sterilization and hygiene practices aimed at maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students were honored by the hospital and received certificates of participation in recognition of their commitment and eagerness to learn.
This visit marked the final event of the summer training program, which provided students with a valuable opportunity to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application — an essential step toward preparing them to meet the demands of the biomedical engineering field and the broader healthcare sector
