The President of the University of the Future holds an expanded meeting with the advanced staff in the faculties of the medical group.
The President of Future University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, held an extensive meeting with the senior staff in the faculties of the medical group at the university as part of his ongoing follow-up on all aspects of work... and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University and the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in addition to the deans of the faculties of the medical group (College of Pharmacy, The College of Dentistry, the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and the College of Nursing)... The meeting also included the assistants, department heads, and branch officials in the aforementioned colleges, as well as the directors of scientific departments and divisions in the university presidency.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision gave a brief presentation on the performance of the medical group’s faculties in a number of aspects, including the movement of scientific research through the rates of completion of research plans and publication in solid scientific libraries such as Scopus and Clarivate, as well as the mechanisms for activating international agreements and the procedures required to obtain accreditation. Programmatic and institutional. Reference was also made to the activities and events achieved by the colleges with regard to the sustainable development goals, in addition to other details related to the scientific and academic aspects.
In a related context, the meeting witnessed presentations made by the directors of the scientific departments at the university presidency (scientific affairs, quality assurance and university performance, cultural relations, government programmes, sustainability and scientific journals) that included a comprehensive and detailed presentation of the data and according to the themes with a comprehensive analysis of each of them.
The President of Future University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, for his part, concluded the meeting with a speech in which he stressed the necessity of serious follow-up by the deans of the colleges, their assistants, heads of scientific departments, and the responsible circles to revitalize the scientific research movement at the university and achieve quality standards in order to reach accreditation in both its programmatic and institutional parts, and to communicate with the relevant circles.
