As part of the university’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of academic and administrative performance, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, specifically the Institutional Performance Evaluation Division, organized a workshop on evaluating the performance of university staff. A faculty member from the Department of Archaeology participated in the workshop, which focused on enhancing academic performance that contributes to performance evaluation and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of faculty members. This provides an opportunity to improve academic performance, develop skills, and promote effective participation through evaluating engagement in various activities such as workshops. The workshop also highlighted the importance of fostering active involvement of faculty members in academic and research activities. Performance evaluation is considered a fundamental component of quality assurance at the university, as it contributes to achieving quality standards and academic excellence.
