As part of efforts to promote sustainability and social responsibility, the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Hussein Wahid Aziz, met with the staff of the Department of Archaeology to discuss active participation in the Sustainability Ambassadors Day. This day aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and social responsibility among members of the university community and the wider society.
The Dean emphasized the importance of the Department of Archaeology’s active involvement in the Sustainability Ambassadors Day and called for intensified efforts to implement awareness and educational activities on sustainability and social responsibility, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the department and relevant institutions to promote sustainable practices in society.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to implement a series of activities and events on the Sustainability Ambassadors Day, and a committee was formed to organize the related programs and initiatives.
