As part of celebrating the International Day of Girls in Information Technology, the teaching assistant in the Department of Medical Instrumentation Techniques Engineering , Engineer Baraa Nizar, shared her success story in the field of technology. She presented her free technological initiative (BN Technology), aimed at developing students and graduates by providing training courses, disseminating technical content, offering job opportunities, and discussing various technical topics. It is noteworthy that Engineer Baraa established this initiative after her graduation, with the aim of creating job opportunities for herself and investing her knowledge in educating students online.
She also expressed how she obtained free scholarships from Stanford University, the US Embassy, as well as numerous American and British companies, and Iraqi government entities, all of which were available online at no cost. She highlighted her message in these two axes: "If you don't get a job opportunity, create one for yourself," and in the second axis: "We are in an electronic age; there is no need to complain about governmental or private education. We can obtain the best training and certifications online for free." She was honored with a shield by the honorable Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies.
