Part of his Permanent follow-up to all aspects of work, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has convened an Expanded Meeting with the Advanced Staff of Medical Colleges, in the presence of Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, President Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision, in addition to the Deans of the following Colleges:
• College of Pharmacy;
• College of Dentistry;
• College of Technology & Medical Health; and
• College of Nursing
The Meeting has also included Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments, as well as other Officials in the aforementioned colleges, all along with Directors of Scientific Departments and Divisions at the University Presidency.
At the start of the Meeting, the Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision has delivered a Brief Presentation on the Performance of the Medical Group Colleges, being summarized in certain aspects, including Scientific Research Plan and rate of completion as well as publication on SCOPUS and Clarivate, the Mechanisms adopted in the activation of International Agreements and the procedures required to obtain Accreditation. Besides, the Activities and Events organized by the Colleges regarding Sustainable Development Goals have also been taken into account.
In a related context, the Meeting has witnessed other Presentations delivered by Directors of Scientific Departments at the University Presidency: Scientific Affairs, Quality Assurance & University Performance, Cultural Relations, Government Programs, Sustainability and Scientific Journals. All themes and data submitted in these Presentations have been addressed with a comprehensive analysis.
For his part, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has concluded the Meeting with a Speech in which he has emphasized the necessity of serious follow-up to be carried out by College Deans, their Deputies, Heads of Scientific Departments, and the Responsible Circles so as to revitalize Scientific Research Movement at the University, and achieving Quality Standards that would lead to obtaining Accreditation at both its Programmatic and Institutional Aspects, and to keep communicating with the Relevant Circles at the University Presidency, exerting all required efforts in order to achieve the Best Levels of Performance and Distinction to Al-Mustaqbal University among other Universities
