We would like to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, accompanied by his Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Assist Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, has participated in the Spring Planting Campaign that has been organized under the Slogan
“Our Environment is Our Responsibility”
It is worth noting that the Campaign has included planting many Environment-Friendly Trees inside the University Campus, being quite familiar as resistant to Drought & High Temperatures. The Campaign in general has mainly aimed to increasing the Green Areas, and thus effectively contributing to reducing rapid Climate Change.
This Campaign however comes within the University's Efforts to contribute to the process of developing Vegetation and maintaining some kind of Environmental Balance, as well as raising awareness among Students & Faculty Members regarding the importance of Environment Preservation, focusing on the necessity to pay more attention to Green Spaces, and thus creating a Sustainable & Healthy Environment for our Future Generations.
