As part of the department’s commitment to engaging its students in purposeful activities and raising their awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4: Quality Education—the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Munther Sameen Shaker, held an extensive meeting with the students to discuss the upcoming Sustainability Camp, scheduled to take place on October 4–5, 2025.
During the meeting, the Head of the Department outlined the main objectives of the camp, which focus on promoting the concept of sustainability in academic and research fields, developing students’ teamwork and problem-solving skills, and encouraging them to design practical initiatives that support the environment and society. He also emphasized the importance of active student participation in such activities, highlighting their role in shaping skills and strengthening personal development.
