Women Empowerment Unit and Students Activities Division at MUC has organized Bazaar for handicrafts. The event opening ceremony has been attended by Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College. The Bazaar has included handicrafts made by the College students. The Dean has reviewed the students’ activities and their participation in the Bazaar. The activities were varied and included handmade crafts such as knitting, embroidery, cooking, painting on glass as well as miniature objects. Accordingly, the Dean has assured to support local products through prompting such events and exhibitions that allow local goods to be shown for the majority of people. Furthermore, he has emphasized the encouragement notion, motivating them to care for their creativity and innovation. For her part, the Bazaar official, Mrs. Huda Al-Hassani, has explained that the idea of the Bazaar has come to support the students' talents in order to develop their small business projects. At the end of the event, a vote was held for the best booth of the participating departments. Medical Laboratory Technologies Dept. has claimed the first rank and gained an award from the Deanship.
