“Digital Universities Week - UK” was held in London during the period 14 – 18 March 2022. The conference has been organized by World University Rankings / Times Higher Educations (THE). It is remarkable to note that researchers and scientists from all over the country have gathered to exchange knowledge and discuss the most suitable practices, regarding their rapid and ongoing digital transformation journeys, leaving the event to be equipped with knowledge and skills for a digital- first future.
Lots of ideas and case studies have been widely explored in the Digital Universities Week, bringing together pioneering voices in the Edtech Sector for five days full of fruitful sessions, in which specific topics have been explored, and they are listed below as follows:

1. What the next 10 years will look like for digital transformation

2. The future of hybrid and flexible learning

3. Using technology to build a sustainable model of higher education

4. Accessibility and technology for social good

5. Where next for the digital estate

6. How to reassess digital assessment

7. Harnessing data to enhance the student journey

Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has declared that the conference has been attended by a number of researchers in addition to representatives of the British Government, where the Minister of Education and the Parliament Member Chris Philip presented the Vision of Britain as well as its plan for the next ten years of digital learning. Besides, Prof. Anant Agarwal from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has given a lecture entitled “The Future University: Redefining Learner Centricity” in which he showed how the pandemic has fundamentally reshaped the higher education landscape, shifting power into the hands of the learners. Meanwhile, he inquired how universities and colleges should respond to such incredible opportunity to embrace online, blended, and lifelong learning that prioritises learner outcomes.
It is considerable to note as well that Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has had meetings with the representatives of Elsevier Journals, Coursera and a number of the Conference Sponsors. The Dean also visited the British Library and Google in Pancras. This participation indeed comes as part of reinforcing communication with the world and getting acquainted with the Sustainable Future Educational Technology so that Al-Mustaqbal University College remains the first and pioneer in all fields.
