Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Mohammed Al-Ghurabi, Head of the Cybersecurity Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Master’s thesis defense of the student Taqa Ghani Treiji at the Department of Computer Science, College of Education for Pure Sciences – University of Thi-Qar.
The thesis was entitled:
“Secured Smart Cities Data based on Optimum Quantum Signatures”

During the defense, the student presented a comprehensive scientific study addressing data security in smart cities through the use of optimum quantum signatures, a highly innovative and relevant research topic in the fields of cybersecurity and digital infrastructure protection.
The committee commended the student’s efforts, the novelty of the research, and its practical significance, and decided to award her the degree of Master in Computer Science.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Ghurabi emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University is committed to fostering academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and to contributing to the advancement of scientific research and community service.
