The project aims to integrate digital technologies into various aspects of the university, from education and administration to services and scientific research, in alignment with national digital transformation directives and the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Securing the Digital Infrastructure 🔒

During the meeting, which was chaired by Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Future University, discussions focused on the project's administrative and operational structure. Cybersecurity was highlighted as a fundamental pillar for ensuring the success of this transformation. As the Head of the Cybersecurity Department, I emphasized the critical need to establish strong foundations for protecting the university's data and vital systems. This includes securing the digital infrastructure, developing strategies to counter cyber threats, and ensuring the safety of student and staff information.

A Comprehensive Vision for the Future 💡

This project is a strategic step towards building a flexible and innovative academic environment that aligns with the recommendations of the recent UNESCO conference and the aspirations of the Smart University. A Smart University is defined as "an educational institution that strategically relies on the integration of digital technologies in all its operations, with the aim of improving the quality of teaching, research, and administration, and providing advanced educational services that keep pace with national and international expectations."
